Next week won't be exhausting as far as kendo is concerned. But I have appointments with friends every single evening. That will also be quite exhausting! :-(

CwB
(still breathing but not really moving any more)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25941740.post-81559070378192583532008-02-15T22:52:00.000+01:002008-02-15T22:52:00.000+01:00Hehe. But one's own language skill level isn't always the problem. Sometimes I watch films in German and don't get every word, because of the background noise (happens very often with action films). So I usually comfort myself with the thought that maybe a native speaker wouldn't understand it either.

"The Unbearable Lightness of Being" is actually a book. I haven't read it, though. The book probably goes deeper into the concept of the title than the film. So in case you ever run out of reading material... ;)
The film deals with it, too, and there's something about it that makes you remember it.

Yes, that's the comic-version of me on the card :)

Have fun with your kendo marathon! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and you'll have a comparatively relaxed week afterwards to enjoy your survival ;)Manuelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14530096452462356702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25941740.post-60702060786119436902008-02-15T20:26:00.000+01:002008-02-15T20:26:00.000+01:00I did not understand everything in the last movie ...I did not understand everything in the last movie I watched in English either. But the reason was my English. It was just not good enough. The message the movie conveyed on the other hand was not very sophisticated, I could follow easily ;-)

Although I have already heard the title "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" - and the German translation - I do not know the movie yet. But the title and your explanation make me eager to watch it! I hope I will remember after my kendo-marathon when I have time to watch *G*

The girl on your drawing... is you?

Greetings,
CwBAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
