  1. Oh, I know that feeling... poor you! *hugs*
    Love the picture, though!

  2. It's probably a good sign. I was worrying that I'm not involved enough in my topic (since other students told me about restlest nights and how they constantly think about their theses). Now I'm having nightmares. Seems like I'm involved enough now ;(

    AWOL...
    Alcohol without liquid?

  4. Liquified without alcohol, rather ;)

    (but actually, "away without leave")

    Away without leave... great!
But a better action would be "away, watching leaves" I suppose.

Nice illustration! I think it brings it to the point very well. I mean I do not know that feeling. Never done a degree dissertation (a proper expression for what you are writing on?). But sometimes I dream of the perfect men (not man *G*) and if I am in a doze I occasionally move according to what I dream.

    Good night,

  6. Mmmh, watching leaves ... yes, much preferable! (especially during a storm)

Be glad that you don't know that feeling. There are more enjoyable things in the world than feeling overworked despite having achieved your daily pensum (like ... dreaming of that men; I need more Kendo dreams :D).

@jester: well, afaik AWOL is a military description of people who leave (or get missing) from their unit...

    btt: nice pic
actually I rather fall asleep than get my brain to an emergency shut-down

  8. Hehe, nice expression - emergency shutdown of brain. Probably also accurate in my case ;D

I'm sadly much to dutiful to just go to bed when my body needs it. I have to finish my day's work, no matter if I'm tired or it's 2am or not.
